Why do i need to pay you to give me picks? I can choose myself.

We agree, you can absolutely make picks yourself. Your joining our team is a conscious choice, and one of the reasons we are grateful to those who do. Our results speak for themselves, and we merely offer a service for those who want to participate. We believe in our service. 

sometimes i think you are picking teams from a hat. How do you really pick?

Lenny used to be a college kid who would get excited and throw a bunch of opinions out on random games that him and his friends liked. He eventually decided there had to be a method to the madness. Based on years of experience, our team's algorithms and analysis, and a touch of feel, we produce a list of opportunities each day.

whoa, you are giving suggestions off feel? I need my money back.

Ha, I would have said the same thing. But it's a little different. The aspect of feel is specific to the end result. For example, if our analysis for a given day returns five opportunities that call for participation in a game, Maybe one of those results just doesn't feel completely right. Our committee talks about the game, and if our reservations are strong enough, then the game won't make the cut for Lenny's Locks that day. That's where feel comes in. We don't offer a game purely on feel, and the analytical purists may argue with our limited incorporation of it, but that's our philosophy and we believe in it.  

what do you mean by units?

Units are a representation of size. they will differ from person to person. We encourage you to try and allocate your unit size based on a theoretical pool of 75 units. 

why is lenny better at choosing games than my neighbor bob?

we believe this business is about transparency. The immediate answer is that our first month of picks is on instagram. for free. i could tell you something like "i have picked over 65 percent for 8 of the last 11 years" or "i crush it when i am out in vegas" but we prefer cliches like "actions speak louder than words," "the proof is in the pudding," "welcome to missouri: the show me state," etc.. Members receive access to every pick we have ever made on this site. We document our history and learn from it. 

how does the lenny's leans option work?

Lenny's Leans is something unique to our site. We know that sometimes people want an opinion on an individual game because they are going to be watching with friends, attending, it's a rivalry, etc. If a game you would like to participate in is not on our Lenny's locks page, we offer the ability (for a fee) to email us the game and we will lend our personalized expertise to your request. This is not part of our performance record, and while we do hold ourselves accountable to offer the best advice we possibly can give, our opinion is merely that, an opinion for entertainment.
