Creating this Website

Lenny's Locks has been a vision for quite sometime. And to be honest, it wasn't testing our methods, it wasn't ensuring our formulas and feels translated to results, it was just making up our mind to figure out how to set up a website and spread the word on winning sports bets.

Is there anything better than sitting around a TV with your friends and having the united feeling of rooting for your pick against the evil Casino or big bad Bookie? That moment where you think everything is lost and something magical brings you back from the brink and everyone embraces around the flat screen Johnny bought two months ago with his winnings: How great is that moment? It's amazing is what it is. And that's why I have created this site. I want to create those moments.

And listen, I know the sick feeling of defeat when you are on the other side of those games as well. That game you had in 3 parlays that royally screws you over or the last second three pointer that doesn't matter for the teams playing but matters oh so much for you. I am SURE we will have some of those along this journey, and I am sure Lenny's name will be cursed from time to time. But our methods are to find enough of the winners that aren't left to chance, the winners that don't require the bounce of the last ball. The really unlucky/lucky games can swing a week a couple percentage points, depending on the amount of action and the amount of luck, but if you set a standard and a bar that is high enough to ensure profitability regardless of those outcomes, then you really have something special.

We at Lenny's Locks think we have something special.

This website is a work in progress. But i look forward to the future.

Betting the Big Game, The NCAA Championship (and the Super Bowl, etc.)

NCAA Championship is tonight, and Nova and UNC should be a pretty amazing matchup. The problem from a handicapping perspective is that for a game of this magnitude, Vegas is going to make sure they get it right. Events like the Super Bowl and other hugely televised events simply don't allow a lot of room for sharp play because of the amount of betting and movement to the mean that both the public and wise bettors make. As difficult as it is, from the perspective of maximum returns, it is often wise to just sit back and enjoy a game such as this with a NO PLAY on the card.

That being said, Lenny's Locks realizes that the reason people wager is for games like this. The emotion, the environment, the pressure and magnitude of the situation is exactly why a wager is so exciting. Everyone is watching, and you want to know you picked the winner.

For tonight's game, I think it's a battle between the better players and the better team. UNC is loaded with guys who will be making millions of dollars in a few years or sooner. Villanova used disciplined team defense to frustrate likely college Player of the Year Buddy Hield and they move the ball and get open shots nearly every time down the floor. And they make them. I'm a team guy. I think Villanova is able to frustrate the stars of UNC and eventually they crack. Roy is an amazing coach, but I just like what mindset Jay Wright has his guy's in right now. If Villanova shoots moderately well and is able to keep UNC off the board, they win this game by 5 to 7 points. I think boxing out will be a huge part of it, and Nova has big guards who should be able to crack down and disciplined strong bigs who should bother a relatively LEAN Brice Johnson. My pick for the night is NOVA ML. -LENNY
